Description

The EP1957-0022 TwinSAFE EtherCAT Box provides fail-safe digital outputs in an IP 67-protected module (four outputs for 24 V DC actuators with up to 0.5 A). It also has eight fail-safe inputs for sensors with potential-free contacts for 24 V DC. For signal connection, M12 screw type connectors are used. Sensors are supplied with power from the load voltage U. P. Moreover, the EP1957-0022 integrates a programmable TwinSAFE Logic enabling the implementation of safety applications directly in the EtherCAT Box. Depending on the application, the safety-oriented information can be pre-processed directly in the IP 67 environment, so that the central TwinSAFE Logic only has to process the information that is aggregated there.
